Security, challenges and boxes

Welcome!

Hello to everyone! As I recently got interested in the field of IT security, I thought it would be a great idea to post what I found interesting and what challenges I succeeded in. This blog will contain some posts about interesting security things I learned, as well as walkthroughs on CTF boxes or challenges. I hope you find some interesting matters on this blog!

You will find on this home page the latest posts and writeups published. You may use the navigation bar to find all the writeups or all the articles.

This website won't contain any writeup to non-retired boxes, however you may see my current progression on those boxes here.

    Hello to everyone!

In this article, I'm presenting a little package I wrote for helping make outputs clearer in my Python scripts. This package's functions aren't really optimal, but they are sufficient for how I use them. This article is here to help uderstand some parts of my code that might be unclear because of the use of such functions. Read more...

  • HTB: Delivery, 21th May 2021

    Hello everyone!

Today, I'm publishing a new writeup for HackTheBox's box Delivery. This machine was made by ippsec and has been rated as easy difficulty. It has been given a rating of 4.6.

This machine was really interesting: it is really suitable for beginners in the field of pentest as it contains a lot of basic stuff. A significant part of the exploitation is not strictly speaking technical, which might prevent beginners from quickly giving up. Read more...

    Hello everyone!

Today, I’m going to make a writeup about Hackthebox machine Traverxec , made by jkr. This box is rated easy by the maker and is kinda easy, I think it’s a good box for a beginner because you can learn a lot of new concepts involving reading and understanding documentation: I spent a lot of time quickly overseeing it, and I missed some interesting points because of that. • HTB: Wall, 27th November 2019

    Hello everyone!

So about a week and a half ago, I decided that I would try to own my first box on Hackthebox. I wanted to start with an easy one, so I chose Wall because a lot of people were saying this box was rather easy to own. It was a really interesting first experience as I learned a lot of things, even if I had to look for a lot of clues and hints because there are a lot of concepts I couldn’t think of by myself.
